I noticed someone hit my site off a google search for using dynamips (what I mentioned here) and vmware together, and as that’s something that I’ve done, I thought I’d share the dynagen configuration. What on earth happened to my motivation? Dynamips is the answer to the problem of having a room full of obsolete lab Cisco kit that you’ll never use – it’s a Cisco router hardware emulator. At 10:45 on Monday 30th October I passed a Cisco SNRS exam. That was the final exam of 5 that I needed to be certified as a Cisco Certified Security Professional (CCSP).
