I bought a Mighty Mouse this evening on my way home, it’s so nice to have a scroll wheel again, except this is a scroll ball… ROCK ON! Of course in true fashion it was a perfectly fine day, right up until I parked the car and had to walk to the Mac store [...] I probably should have updated by now, but to be honest, I’ve just been having too much fun on the powerbook. It’s great, it’s like Unix only pretty, almost everythign can be done on the GUI, but there’s the shell if needed. I’ve already downloaded several hundreds of megs of freeware programs for it, [...] I had a look at my order status this afternoon, was pleasently suprised. They had estimated that all would be ready for dispatch on the 19th July, but when I checked today the status was “Preparing Shipment”. I was ecstatic to say the least. This means that I could me Maccing by the middle [...] I have just placed an order online for a brand spanking new 15″ powerbook. HOLY SHIT! I can’t believe I did it! It feels right tho, at the moment, might not feel quite so right tomorrow, but right now, it feels right. the only thing that feels wrong is the delivery lead time – [...] |
