On the 22nd May I took and passed the Check Point Certified Security Expert exam. That was one that had been hanging around my neck for about 18 months and I kept putting it off because I wasn’t looking forward to doing it and I preferred to do Cisco exams because they are worth something to me financially. However the fact that this one was hanging around kept distracting me.
So now it’s done, passed with 97% (I don’t know where the other 3% went) in about 15 minutes. The girl at the reception desk was impressed by my speed.
The logo to the right is one that I’m allowed to use now to show that I’ve passed the exam and a attained that level of check point knowledge. Isn’t it fantastic? I’m going to use it EVERYWHERE! All my email signatures, I’ll get some business cards, I’ll even get it tattooed on my forehead!
Okay, maybe I go too far, but it is a little bit naff eh?

Perhaps they read my last post and thought “ey up, he’s got a point you know”, or perhaps they didn’t, but there’s a new logo!
