Hello and welcome to my site!
For anyone that doesn’t know me (or hasn’t guessed by now), my name is Matt.
I am a network security engineer by profession by dint of having a background in networking and an interest in security. I have multiple Cisco and Check Point certifications, and am always working on the next one. Currently I am employed by Dimension Data Network Services (UK) and am based at Airbus in Filton, near Bristol.
I live in Bridgend in South Wales, but I still call Llanelli my hometown, even if I wasn’t born there, and they might have something to say on the subject 
I have very few passions in life, but coffee is one of them. Hardly a day goes by that I don’t indulge in a few mugs of the stuff. If I’m at home all day I’ll usually get a jug of drip going in the morning that’ll last a few hours, otherwise I have a usual drink at most of the coffee shops near me. Some might say I’m addicted, but I disagree, I can quit whenever I like… I think.
I spend a lot of time at a computer, and am usually online. You can often find me on IRC on ThunderCity or AsylumNet. I’m usually using the nickname Twpsyn or some permutation of it. You can also find me on Twitter, or Facebook. I use all of the popular IM programs, but you’ll have to ask me for those as it’s just an invitation to spam.
In my spare time, away from computers (sort of) I like to play video games. I have every console currently on the market (now including a PS3!). Generally I tend away from games where I have to think too much – I spend my workdays using my brain and problem solving so I like to give it a rest in my spare time. My gamercard (X-Box) and trophycard (PS3) are below and to the right.
